So it’s February. This means two things are happening, one that black history month is in full swing and two that half baked romance and romantic comedies are in full force. Now don’t get me wrong I’m not saying that these movies are all bad nor am I saying love stories can’t be entertaining, but the February assembly line of  these films is something I can’t stand. Every February, Hollywood produces increasingly less thought out premises for their Valentine’s day rush. This year is no exception and the geniuses have topped themselves with the premises for The Vow and This Means War. Both of these films are coming out this month and are expected to receive hundreds of millions for Valentine’s day dates and make-up Valentine’s day dates. Money that I can already tell from their poor premises is not deserved.
