Adam Sandler Truly Doesnt Care Anymore

In his own right, Adam Sandler has made some funny movies. Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison, The Waterboy, Little Nicky, alll had that same sophmoric, but likeable humor and characters which gave Adam Sandler that following. At some point he decided to venture away from his usual routine, and decided to make a couple of movies that explored more serious themes. The movie Click explored the theme of enjoying things while you still can, and Funny People, even though a Judd Apatow film, explored terminal illness and its effects on those around you, as well as lost love and what could have been. It would appear that Adam Sandler has given up on these more serious oriented comedies, and more or less went back to his roots. With Jack and Jill he went even farther down than his roots, lowering any standards he may have placed for himself. He really does not care anymore, because if his name is placed on a movie, it will sell.
